Good nutrition can be the difference between a win and a loss. My goal is to educate athletes as to the best diet for their specific needs. This may be for strength, endurance, weight maintenance, a combination or another goal. Some athletes may only need one session others may want ongoing support.
With over 14 years experience in the NHS I've specialized in a number of fields including Oncology, Paediatrics and Gastroenterology (including low FODMAPS).
WEIGHT LOSS COUNSELING
I understand that most people know the foods they should or shouldn't be eating but managing their intake is often the issue. I am trained in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to ensure the changes individuals make are long lasting and not just a quick fix. Weight managment sessions can be booked via video conference or face to face.
